3 Arrested In Sullivan County Shooting: Police

A 20-year-old and two teenagers face felony charges, police said.

MONTICELLO, NY — Three Sullivan County residents — an adult and two teens — were arrested after police accused them of being involved in a shooting.

The New York State Police said the shooting happened in the early morning hours of Aug. 9 on Liberty Street in the village of Monticello.

Police charged Tahleek Clark, 20, and a 15-year-old, both of Monticello, with second-degree possession of a weapon, first-degree criminal use of a weapon, first-degree assault and first-degree reckless endangerment, all felonies.

Additionally, a 14-year-old from Monticello was charged with first-degree assault.

Clark was arraigned in the Town of Thompson Court and sent to the Sullivan County Jail.

The teens were arraigned at the Sullivan County Family Court.

State police made the arrests with the assistance of the Village of Monticello Police Department and the Sullivan County District Attorney's Office.
