3 Face Drug Possession Accusations In Hudson

A search warrant was issued by the court for a home in Kinderhook.

KINDERHOOK, NY — The New York State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team accused three people of possessing illegal drugs. Jamie L. Alphen, 35, and Xavier Anderson, 29, both from Hudson, and Khashand Branch, 20, of Catskill, were charged with second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, both felonies.

Authorities said a search warrant was issued by the Columbia County Court for a home on Fairview Avenue in Kinderhook.

The execution of the warrant yielded about 235 grams of 3,4-Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA) and 30 grams of Xanax.

All three were arraigned virtually before the City of Hudson Court and released on their own recognizance.

Their next scheduled court appearance is set for Tuesday.
