4-Month-Old Airlifted With 'Life-Threatening Injuries' After Crash
The 26-year old driver and a 26-year-old passenger both had serious injuries and were taken to Vassar Hospital.

NEW PALTZ, NY — A baby girl is clinging to life in a Westchester hospital after a violent car crash in Ulster County.
The New Paltz Police Department says that they are investigating an accident that took place on Monday, at 10:12 a.m., on Libertyville Road, which resulted in serious physical injuries.
A 26-year old driver of a 2007 Saturn was traveling north when she passed another vehicle in a no passing zone, according to authorities. After entering back into the northbound lane, the car left the roadway, and struck a tree head on.

The driver and a 26-year-old male passenger both sustained serious injuries and were taken to Vassar Hospital by the New Paltz Rescue Squad.
A four-month-old baby girl with life-threatening injuries was airlifted to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, and then to Westchester Medical Center.

Police say the case is under investigation and ask that anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has any information about the incident, contact New Paltz Police Department detectives at 845-255-1357.
New Paltz police were assisted by the New Paltz Rescue Squad, the New Paltz Fire Department and the Ulster County Crash Reconstruction Team.
