4YO Boy Killed In 2-Car Collision In Columbia County
Four others were taken to the hospital.

KINDERHOOK, NY — A 4-year-old boy was killed in a two-car collision Wednesday in the Town of Kinderhook. State Police said the fatal crash happened on State Route 203 just west of Merwin Road in Columbia County.
Around 2:25 p.m. Dec. 13, Laura Dalaudiere, 27, of Valatie, was driving north on SR 203. Police said the preliminary investigation found that a car being driven south by David L. Scott, 56, of Ghent, struck Dalaudiere’s car.
Dalaudiere and two of her passengers, ages 5 and 11, were taken to Albany Medical Center and are listed in critical but stable condition. Scott was also taken to the hospital.

Ryan Dalaudiere, 4, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The State Police were assisted on scene by the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Chatham Fire Department, Chatham Rescue, Valatie Rescue Squad, Valatie Fire Department, Ghent Fire Department, Columbia County Coroner’s Office, Columbia County EMS Coordinator, Columbia County Fire Coordinator and Troop K Collision Reconstruction Unit.
