5 Firefighters Injured Battling Newburgh Blaze
The house was located on Bennett Road in Newburgh.
NEWBURGH, NY — A fire destroyed a Newburgh home Friday on Bennett Road. Five firefighters were injured while battling the blaze.
Four of the firefighters received minor burns, but a fifth was injured after falling through the floor on the second level, News 12 reported.
The five were treated for their injuries and released from the hospital.

The home on Bennett Road was being renovated and the owners had not yet moved in, News 12 said.
