$50K Powerball Winning Ticket Sold In Hudson Valley
Monday night's drawing for the Powerball is estimated to be worth $525 million, according to lottery officials.

FISHKILL, NY — There were three third-prize winning tickets sold for the New Year's Day Powerball drawing in New York, one of which was bought in Fishkill in the Hudson Valley.
New York Lottery officials said the third-prize winning tickets were each worth $50,000. They were purchased at the following locations:
- Smokes 4 Less on Main Street in Fishkill
- Popular Card and Gift on Union Boulevard in West Islip
- Royal Mini Mart on Hampton Street in Sag Harbor
There were no winning tickets for the $518.7 million Powerball jackpot which is estimated to be $525 million for Monday night's drawing.

The winning numbers for the Jan. 1 Powerball drawing were 6-12-39-48-50, with a Powerball of 7.
Winning numbers are drawn from a field of one to 69. The Powerball number is drawn from a separate field of one to 26.

Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 11 p.m.
