6 Firefighters Injured in Ulster County Blaze

Officials said two were seriously hurt in the fire which started from a propane leak.

CRAGSMOOR, NY — Six firefighters were injured Saturday battling a blaze after an explosion at a former church which is now a private residence in Cragsmoor.

Two were seriously hurt. Heavy smoke made the fire hard to fight, according to the Daily Freeman.

The blast, which happened around 5:30 p.m., was caused by a propane leak, the recordonline.com said.
