Accident Blocks I-87 Lanes Monday Afternoon
An alternate route should be considered, the DOT said.
NEWBURGH, NY — An accident has blocked all lanes southbound on I-87 between Exit 18 (I-87) - New Paltz (Rte 299) and Exit 17 (I-87) - Newburgh (I-84-Rte 17K).
The state Department of Transportation said motorists should consider using an alternate route.
Recordonline.com said the accident involved two tractor trailers.
