Accident on I-87 Under Investigation, Driver Seriously Injured
Both occupants were ejected from their vehicle.

NEWBURGH, NY — State Police are investigating a one-car accident on I-87 north of Exit 17 in Newburgh Friday.
The accident occurred around 8:11 a.m. on the northbound side.
Police said the driver of a Ford Roadster struck the guiderail on the right shoulder.

Both the driver and the passenger were ejected from the vehicle.
The driver was air lifted with serious physical injuries to Westchester Medical Center. The passenger was taken to St. Luke’s Hospital with minor injuries.
