Amazon Warehouse Proposed For Orange County
The warehouse, if it's built, could create 800 jobs.
MONTGOMERY, NY — The Hudson Valley could be a prime location for an Amazon warehouse. The online retailer said it would be occupying a warehouse at the intersection of routes 17K and 747 in the Town of Montgomery.
The center, which would house bulky items such as outdoor equipment and patio furniture, would be one of more than 75 fulfillment centers in the country and create 800 jobs, the Times Herald-Record reported.
The proposed facility would be on 190 acres and would have more than 1,000 parking spaces, 225 trailer parking spaces and a wastewater treatment plant.
