Massage Parlor Sting Leads To Prostitution Arrest: New York State Police

The New York State Police said they started the investigation based on complaints about prostitution at the spa in LaGrange.

LAGRANGE, NY — A sting at a Hudson Valley spa has led to a felony charge against an employee, according to cops.

On April 30, the New York State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation in Poughkeepsie arrested 59-year-old Bongseon Choi, of Manhattan, for felony unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution.

The New York State Police started the investigation on March 4, based on complaints about prostitution at New Kang Spa, at 1151 Route 55 in LaGrange.

Choi was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of LaGrange Court on May 19.

The New York State Police said they were assisted in the investigation by the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office.
