GOSHEN, NY — The World Cup is going to be huge, but one of the Hudson Valley's most beloved attentions has something small planned,
Legoland New York Resort in Goshen will roll out a limited-time FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience this summer, with the family event scheduled to run from June 11 through July 19.
Legoland will transform the park into a soccer-themed fan zone with interactive games, Lego builds and character experiences inspired by Lego FIFA heroes. The experience is included with regular admission to the park.
Legoland is "only a short drive from the excitement of the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches being hosted across New York and New Jersey," and is inviting visitors to celebrate matchday moments during their visit. The event promises to be a high-energy celebration of soccer fandom and LEGO play aimed at visitors of all ages.
Families visiting the park will be able to take part in activities including scoring against a Lego Minifigure and trying the Spot Shot and Super Squad challenges. The activities are designed for all ages and skill levels.
Guests also will be able to see Lego brick versions of soccer stars including Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, Lionel Messi and Vini Jr., created for the event. Another activity, Design A Jersey, will let visitors build a soccer uniform in Lego bricks and add it to a Heroes of Play Wall.
The experience will also include a photo opportunity centered on the Lego FIFA World Cup Official Trophy. Newly released Lego sets, including the Lego Soccer Ball Set 43019 and Lego FIFA World Cup Official Trophy Set 43020, will be available at the Legoland Shop while supplies last, according to the resort.
"Bringing the FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience exclusively to Legoland Resorts gives families the chance to feel part of the tournament in true Lego style with high-score mania of the FIFA World Cup." Legoland New York VP Stephanie Johnson said. "This event captures the excitement of soccer, creativity, and family fun where fans of all ages build, play, and score together."
The resort is encouraging guests to book early. More information and sign-ups for updates are available at www.LEGOLAND.com/fifaworldcup.
