The Toyota driver, in an attempt to avoid the motorcycle, steered to the right, crossed over the roadway hazard markings, and struck a rock barrier.

The operator of the motorcycle, identified as 18-year-old Ryan M. Conklin, of Spring Glen, was ejected from the motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Toyota, identified as 57-year-old Kimberly A. Gage, of Pine Bush, along with two passengers, a 77-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man, both of Milford, Pennsylvania, were taken to Ellenville Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
