The New York State Police say that on July 2, around 7:19 p.m., troopers from Ellenville responded to State Route 52, in the Town of Wawarsing, after receiving a report of a fatal two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
Investigators said a 2024 Yamaha motorcycle had been traveling west on State Route 52 at an unsafe speed when, for unknown reasons, the motorcycle lost control, slid on its side, crossed into the eastbound lane, and collided with a 2021 Toyota, sliding under the vehicle.

The driver of the Toyota, identified as 57-year-old Kimberly A. Gage, of Pine Bush, along with two passengers, a 77-year-old woman and a 79-year-old man, both of Milford, Pennsylvania, were taken to Ellenville Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
