DOVER, NY — Authorities could use your help locating a missing Dutchess County man.
The New York State Police in Dover are asking the public for assistance finding 49-year-old Ryan Courtien, of Dover.
Courtien was last seen at approximately 9:30 a.m., near Waldo Road in Dover. At the time he was last seen, he was wearing tan pants and a black T-shirt, according to NYSP.
In a separate advisory, the New York State Police is advising the public of an increased law enforcement presence related to the investigation, in the area of West Dover Road and Old Pawling Road, in the Town of Dover. Drivers and residents are being asked to avoid the area, if possible, and follow the directions of law enforcement personnel.
At this time, there is no threat to the public, according to NYSP.
