ULSTER, NY — A Kingston man with a previous bench warrant for bail jumping and drug possession was arrested in Ulster County last week, where he now faces additional drug and weapon possession charges, police said.

Once he was in custody, police searched Bahl and found a loaded gun and several bags with drugs in them, police said.

Police did not say the exact drugs or the amount thereof that Bahl had on him, but said he would be charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a firearm, and third-and-fifth-degree counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Additionally, police said Bahl would be charged with misdemeanor counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
