Going Once, Going Twice: 151-Acre Renamor Estate In Tuxedo Park Heads To Auction After Price Cut

TUXEDO PARK, NY — Your dreams may be available for a bargain, as a famed Hudson Valley estate hits goes on the block.

A 151-acre estate in Tuxedo Park is headed to auction after first hitting the market last year as the historic enclave's largest and most expensive listing. Renamor, a 1928 French Provincial mansion at 120 Ridge Road, will be offered through Concierge Auctions, with bidding scheduled to run from Sept. 16 to Sept. 29 as part of the firm's Hong Kong Global Sale.

According to the announcement, the estate first came to market in August 2025 for $29.5 million with Ellis Sotheby's International Realty. The asking price was later reduced to about $25 million. Bidding is now expected to begin between $5 million and $11 million.

The main residence has about 14,000 square feet of living space and includes a great hall, grand salon, kitchen, banquet-size dining room, library, former chapel, fume room and wine cellar, according to the listing announcement. The property has 16 bedrooms, 20 bathrooms and 19 fireplaces. Other structures on the estate include a 3,700-square-foot guest house, a 4,700-square-foot carriage house, a boathouse on Tuxedo Lake, a log cabin, tea house, spa building, two pools and a tennis court.

The announcement says the estate also includes a geothermal heating system and concealed solar field, allowing it to function off the grid while preserving its historic appearance. The grounds include rolling lawns, wooded areas, a motor court and walking and golf-cart paths with views of Tuxedo Lake.

Renamor was originally built for George S. Amory and his wife, Marion Renee, whose names were blended to create the property's name. The home later belonged to the late Robert Stanley Dow, identified in the announcement as managing partner of Lord, Abbett & Co. LLC, philanthropist and Olympic saber fencer. The seller is Lindsay Dow, founder and CEO of Tetricus Labs.

Tuxedo Park was founded in 1886 by Pierre Lorillard IV on roughly 5,000 acres along Tuxedo Lake, according to the announcement. Today, the village covers roughly 2,050 privately owned acres, three lakes and fewer than 400 residences, all preserved and listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
