Armed Robbery On Vassar Campus

The students in a campus townhouse were bound after which the home was burglarized.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A group of Vassar College students were bound and their townhouse on campus was burglarized early Friday morning. Around 2 a.m., two men got into the house through an unlocked door with what appeared to be a handgun.

Vassar's Safety and Security department said the students were bound and then the men searched the house, the Poughkeepsie Journal reported.

The area was searched with a Town of Poughkeepsie police dog, but the men were believed to have fled from the area.
