Arrest in Anti-Semitic Graffiti at Kiryas Joel

A 24-year-old faces a felony hate-crime charge.

James Blazeski, 24, of Goshen, NY faces a charge of Criminal Mischief 4th degree as a Hate Crime, a class E Felony.

Blazeski was arrested March 31 following an investigation into graffiti that was found in the Village of Kiryas Joel. The graffiti was found inside some of the multi-dwelling buildings and was hateful in nature and directed at the Jewish Community, state police said.

Blazeski was arraigned in the Village of Monroe Court and sent to Orange County Jail on $2,500 cash bail and $7,500 bond.
