Arrest Made In Death Of Monroe Man
Police are requesting that anyone who has any information about the incident contact them.

MONROE, NY — An arrest was made after a man was found dead with multiple stab wounds. State police in Monroe said Samuel Del Cid Hernandez, 31, of Monroe, was charged with second-degree murder.
Police responded around 3 a.m. Oct. 13 to a Lake Street address for a report of a man who had been stabbed and was dead.
The victim was identified as Louis Rivera, 25, of Monroe.

Hernandez was arraigned in the Village of Monroe Court and sent to Orange County Jail without bail.
He is scheduled to return to court Oct. 19.

State police and the Village of Monroe Police Department are requesting anyone with information pertaining to the case to contact the state police at 845-782-8311 or the village police at 845-492-8477.
The investigation is ongoing.
