Beekman Man Gets 20 Years in Prison for Child Sex Abuse

BEEKMAN, NY — A man from Beekman has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for repeatedly sexually assaulting a child beginning when she was 12.

According to officials, John Stiebritz was sentenced Friday for the crime which had taken place over three years, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.

Stiebritz had pleaded guilty to felony first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child.
