Body Found In Hudson Valley River: Police
A local fisherman discovered the body in the Wallkill River, police said.
MIDDLETOWN, NY — State police are investigating a body found in a river Wednesday. Troopers responded around 2:50 p.m. to a report by a local fisherman who found a man's body in the Wallkill River at the Midway Road Overpass.
Police said the body has not yet been identified and was taken to the Orange County Morgue for an autopsy Thursday.
The investigation is ongoing, police said.
