Bridge Work To Begin In East Fishkill: DPW
The work will primarily be taking place under the existing structure.

EAST FISHKILL, NY — The Dutchess County Department of Public Works has announced work will begin this week to rehabilitate Bridge E-5 on Beekman Road (CR 9) in East Fishkill. Preliminary work, including site clearing, will begin this week in preparation for a new steel-arch bridge and concrete footings to be constructed under the existing bridge.
With work primarily under the existing structure, traffic disruptions are expected to be minimal and the road will remain open. The bridge, which averages approximately 9,100 vehicles per day, is located at the intersection of Old Sylvan Lake Road and the Taconic State Parkway northbound.
The project is anticipated to be complete by December.
