Hudson River Maritime Museum

The Hudson River Maritime Museum (HRMM) is pleased to welcome renowned maritime musician and storyteller Geoff Kaufman back to Kingston for two special performances celebrating the rich traditions of folk and maritime music.
Audiences will have two opportunities to experience Kaufman's captivating performances. On&nbsp;Friday, July 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM, Kaufman will perform in HRMM's Homeport Barn, offering an intimate evening of songs and stories drawn from maritime history, folk traditions, and contemporary themes. The following evening,&nbsp;Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 6:00 PM, guests can enjoy a live musical cruise aboard HRMM's solar-powered tour vessel,&nbsp;Solaris, as Kaufman performs while cruising the scenic Rondout Creek.
Known for his engaging stage presence, powerful voice, and deep knowledge of traditional music, Kaufman has spent decades sharing songs of the sea and the people who lived and worked on the water. Whether on land or aboard&nbsp;Solaris, attendees can expect an unforgettable evening of music, history, and community.

Featuring Soundpainting Inventor Walter Thompson and Artists from Around the World. In Collaboration with Strike Anywhere Performance Ensemble and Soundpainting Thinktank.
An Evening of Soundpainting is a dynamic, one-night-only performance featuring Soundpainting creator Walter Thompson alongside an international cohort of musicians, actors, dancers, and visual artists. The event marks the culmination of the Soundpainting Thinktank, a week-long gathering of artists from over a dozen countries engaged in intensive collaboration, performance, and research.
The concert will feature a series of live-composed Soundpaintings. Soundpainting is the universal, multidisciplinary sign language for live composition, used by musicians, actors, dancers, and visual artists. With more than 1,500 gestures, the language allows composers to shape work in real time—nothing is pre-planned, and each piece is created in the moment and will never be repeated.
An Evening of Soundpainting tickets are free. Tickets can be reserved beginning on June 11, 2026.

Mount Saint Mary College

Mount Saint Mary College will offer its Summer Knights STEAM Camp this July for high school students.&nbsp;
This engaging week-long experience brings together science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics through hands-on workshops led by college professors.
Designed to encourage discovery, creativity, and innovation, the camp allows students to collaborate, create, and experiment while exploring exciting fields: from code breaking to filmmaking, biology, and finance. Participants can choose to attend morning sessions, afternoon sessions, or a full-day camp. Lunch is included for all options.
The camp is available for students entering 10th through 12th grade as of Fall 2026. No prior experience is necessary to attend. Pricing varies depending on the session selected, with a discount available for full-day registration.&nbsp;

Join us for a refreshingly different way to support the arts—now in its second year--a summer evening on the Hudson River where we raise sails and raise funds in support of the Woodstock Film Festival.
The night begins at 5:30 PM with a dockside bubbly toast. At 6pm, guests will set sail from the dock for sunset-viewing cruise along the Hudson,, a social raft-up, and the chance to mingle on the water.&nbsp;
All proceeds benefit the Woodstock Film Festival’s mission to champion independent film and this year’s 27th annual taking place October 14-18, 2026.&nbsp;
