City Winery Hudson Valley presents Jaimoe & Friends on Sunday, December 13th, at 7:00 PM! Experience the music and legacy of the Allman Brothers Band with Jaimoe, the band’s last surviving original member and legendary drummer. Still carrying the spirit of the Brothers forward, Jaimoe leads an all-star group in a performance blending Allman Brothers classics with the jazz that first inspired him, from John Coltrane to Miles Davis. Featuring Jaimoe on drums, Bruce Katz on keyboards, Kris Jensen on saxophone, Joel Harrison on guitar and vocals, and Joe Fonda on bass and vocals, this special performance connects the Southern rock legacy of the Allman Brothers with the rich traditions of jazz. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Big House Foundation.
