32K+ Central Hudson Customers With No Power Saturday Night

A combination of heavy, wet snow and gusty winds took its toll.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A little progress has been made in the mid-Hudson Valley for Central Hudson customer with more than 31,000 outages as of 8:45 p.m., which is down from almost 39,000 around noon. Dutchess still holds the vast majority with 25,222 still waiting for power to be restored.

The estimated time for restoration for all Dutchess customer is 4 p.m. Wednesday, though many will be restored in the next few days. Hyde Park and LaGrange still have 2,300 and 2,900 outages, respectively

Ulster County still has 5,712 customers without electricity, the majority of which are in Saugerties and Olive

Putnam County is down to less than 1,000 customers without power, and all Orange County Central Hudson customers have had electricity restored.
