POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — After a glorious Friday, we could see some scattered showers on Saturday around the Hudson Valley.

Some scattered thunderstorms are possible Saturday night and in the afternoon and evening on Sunday, as the heat and humidity increase, according to nymetroweather.com.

• Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 87. Light southwest wind.
• Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 64. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight.
• Saturday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 88. Calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Saturday Night: A chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 68. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 30%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
• Sunday: A slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny and hot, with a high near 91. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
• Sunday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 68.
