
LAGRANGE, NY — State police stopped two men in a car Wednesday on Route 55 at 2:15 a.m. Police said the trooper interviewing the driver and passenger smelled marijuana.
Continued investigation discovered approximately 17 grams of crack-cocaine, approximately 209 grams of heroin, approximately 3 grams of marijuana, and over $1,800 in U.S. currency in the car.
Omari F. Laviscount, 28, of Queens, NY, was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with the Intent to Sell, class B felonies,.

Tyrone M. Harper, 32, of Brooklyn, NY, was charged with two counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree with Intent to Sell, class B felonies, Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 5th degree, a class D felony, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.
Laviscount and Harper were arraigned before the town of Lagrange Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
