ANNANDALE, NY — Bard College will be the site of a sold-out event featuring former Army intelligence analyst Chelsea Manning. She will speak in “A Conversation with Chelsea Manning” Feb. 21 at the college in Annandale.
Rebecca Thomas, dean of the college, and Kevin Duong, assistant professor of political studies, wiill moderate the event, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
Manning, who was convicted of leaking government documents to WikiLeaks, and had her 35-year prison sentence commuted by President Barack Obama, has filed paperwork to run for U.S. Senate in Maryland.
