Millbrook Vineyards & Winery to Unveil Elevated Guest Experiences This Summer

On the heels of new leadership, Millbrook Vineyards & Winery, the Hudson Valley’s flagship winery, will debut a series of thoughtful enhancements to its operations beginning in June 2026. Designed to elevate the guest experience, while honoring its 40-year legacy, scenic setting and award-winning wines, these updates reflect a refreshed vision for how guests enjoy all that the winery has to offer.
“This next chapter is about refining what guests already love about Millbrook Winery,” said General Manager and Head Winemaker Ian Bearup. “We’ve always believed Millbrook Winery is more than a place to enjoy exceptional wine, it’s an experience shaped by the landscape, people and moments shared here. These enhancements will only make each visit more intentional, comfortable and enjoyable for every guest who enters the property.”
Among the most notable changes are aesthetic improvements and newly expanded seating areas across the property. Millbrook’s traditional outdoor seating in the vineyard lawn, winery patio, and vineyard tent will remain and be available with no table fee. For guests seeking a more elevated experience, the winery is introducing a new adults-only area featuring Adirondack chairs, private tables with umbrellas and pondside sofa seating – an experience available for a small table fee. To complement the new seating options and ensure a cohesive guest experience that preserves the surrounding landscape, outside lawn furniture will no longer be permitted on the property. For added convenience and to make visits more enjoyable, guests will have the option to make table reservations, creating a more relaxed pace, dedicated seating and a consistent high-quality experience for all. Optional seating reservations can be booked in advance on the website or by phone, and walk-ins will be accommodated, based on availability.
Additionally, Millbrook is expanding the ways guests can experience its wines. While the winery's casual bar tasting remains in the downstairs tasting room, Millbrook is introducing a new premium guided tasting featuring estate and New York-grown wines that can be paired with small bites. The new experience will be hosted in The Overlook and The Overlook Terrace, formerly the Tap Room, with refreshed interiors and sweeping views of the vineyards and Catskill Mountains. A selection of tables in the new space will also be available for guests who simply want to enjoy a glass or bottle at their leisure.
The winery will expand its curated food offerings in partnership with local Hudson Valley purveyors and caterers for an on-site market in the winery featuring Hudson Valley and New York-grown and made products. Offerings will include charcuterie items, local cheeses, prepared items such as salads, sandwiches and fresh local breads, along with other ready-to-enjoy items to pair with guests’ favorite Millbrook wines. A selection of non-alcoholic beverages will also be available in the market in order for wine lovers and their non-drinking friends and family to enjoy the property together. With a robust selection of options offered on-site, outside food and beverages will no longer be permitted on the property.
Millbrook Winery remains a welcoming destination for friends, families, groups and pets to enjoy time together, and its beloved seasonal programming will remain an important part of the Millbrook experience. Friday Night Food Trucks will return beginning May 22, offering guests the opportunity to enjoy live music, local food and vineyard views, and many new wine releases. Jazz in the Vineyard, the winery’s outdoor jazz concert series, will kick off on June 27.
