CO Man Arrested In Goshen On Weapons Charges
Police also said the man was driving drunk.

GOSHEN, NY — A Colorado man faces illegal weapons charges after being involved in a crash on State Route 17 in the Town of Goshen. State Police said Jeffrey Burns, 35, of Fort Morgan, CO drove his Chevrolet pickup off the roadway and struck a vehicle parked on the shoulder Sunday, Jan. 21.
When Troopers interviewed him, they determined he was intoxicated and was also in possession of a loaded AR-15-style assault rifle.
Burns also had several magazines and several hundred rounds of ammunition.

He was arrested and charged with three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, felonies, and misdemeanor driving while intoxicated
Burns was arraigned in the Town of Goshen Court and sent to the Orange County Jail with no bail set.
