Colin Schmitt Opposes SUEZ Rate Hike

Colin Schmitt, candidate for the 99th Assembly District, released a statement regarding the SUEZ Water New York Inc. proposed rate increase.

Colin Schmitt, candidate for the 99th Assembly District, released the following statement:

"Yesterday I attended the information session and public hearing on SUEZ Water New York Inc. proposed 14% rate increase. I carefully listened to the presentation and public comments on the potential increase. It is alarming that SUEZ wants our families and seniors to bail out a bad investment. I stand with Supervisor Monaghan and my Stony Point neighbors in strongly opposing this rate increase. I will do all in my power to stop it and when elected to the State Assembly always stand with our community against outlandish rate hikes."
