Companion Of Fatally Stabbed Man Accused Of Manslaughter
She had originally told police a group of teens was involved.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — An arrest has been made in the Sept. 14 stabbing death of a 42-year-old Hyde Park man in the City of Poughkeepsie. Police said Marcena Edwards, 43, was accused of stabbing her companion, Nakia Bruton, during an argument on Winnikee Avenue.
The arrest contradicts what Edwards had originally told police, which was that a group of teens was involved and a young black man killed Bruton, the Poughkeepsie Journal said.
