LAGRANGE, NY — The Dutchess County Department of Public Works announced that preliminary construction work to improve the intersection of Noxon Road (Route 21) and Smith and Maloney roads in the town of LaGrange is expected to begin March 14.

Weather permitting, the work will include tree clearing, with the rest of construction beginning in late June, which will minimize traffic impacts and interruptions to school bus routes.

The DPW said the project will improve traffic safety at the intersection by altering the elevation of Noxon Road.
