Coronavirus: 4 New Dutchess County Deaths
There are now more than 590 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in the county.
POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — Four more deaths were reported in Dutchess County from the new coronavirus Thursday. The Dutchess County Department of Behavioral & Community Health said all the people who died had underlying conditions that were risk factors, and none were under department monitoring.
These latest deaths bring the total in the county to nine.

The age and gender of the decease are as follows:
- 83-year-old woman
- 79-year-old man
- 82-year-old man
- 28-year-old man
"Today brings more heartbreaking loss for Dutchess County, and we extend our prayers and condolences to the families and friends of these four neighbors," County Executive Marc Molinaro said.

As of Thursday, there are now more than 590 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus in Dutchess County, officials said. Nearly 40 people are confirmed to have recovered, i.e., people who have resolved symptoms and are no longer being monitored by the health department.
