UPDATE: Route 44 Reopens After School Bus Crash
There were two other vehicles involved with the stopped bus and four people were taken to the hospital.

UPDATE: All lanes of Route 44 near Timothy Heights Road are open again, state police said. They were closed before 7 a.m. after a three-vehicle crash involving a school bus.
The crash was apparently caused by a tractor-trailer that rear-ended a van stopped for an Arlington school district bus. The bus had its lights and signs going, according to Spectrum News Hudson Valley.
The van driver and three Arlington middle school students were taken to the hospital, Spectrum reported.

PLEASANT VALLEY, NY — A crash involving a school bus and two other vehicles closed Route 44 early Tuesday morning. New York State Police said there were injuries.
