Cuomo Proposes Woodbury Common Metro-North Station

The new station, if it comes to fruition, would be on the Port Jervis Line.

CENTRAL VALLEY, NY — It could easier getting to Woodbury Common if Gov. Andrew Cuomo gets his way with a plan to bring a Metro-North station to the shopping complex. Cuomo mentioned that possibility at a speech he gave at Marist College Thursday.

The station would be on the Port Jervis Line between the Harriman and Salisbury Mills-Cornwall stations, the Journal News said.

Cuomo said Woodbury Common is visited by 13 million people a year.
