Delgado, Skoufis To Hold Volunteer Thank-You Events
Part of the 2018 'blue wave' two Democrats elected to Congress and NY Senate from the Hudson Valley have events scheduled.

Congressman-elect Antonio Delgado and state Senator-elect James Skoufis have scheduled volunteer appreciation events in the Hudson Valley.
They were both part of the 'blue wave' in the 2018 midterm elections. Delgado beat first-term Congressman John Faso, who had been endorsed by President Donald Trump, and two minor-party candidates, with about 49 percent of the vote. Skoufis picked up 52 percent of the vote to best Stony Point Councilman Tom Basile, a consultant for Reclaim New York, the nonprofit funded by the Mercer family, which also backs the conservative Breitbart news site.
