Driver Who Crashed Into House Was Killed, Sister Says
Police were in pursuit of the man when he crashed in a Middletown house.

MIDDLETOWN, NY — The driver of a car being chased by police early Thursday morning died after crashing into a Middletown house. According to witnesses, a Middletown police vehicle was in pursuit of a black Lexus around 12:30 a.m. on Fulton Street.
As the chase entered Sterling Street, the Lexus went up on a sidewalk and crashed into a house, taking down the overhang of a porch, recordonline.com said.
A sister of the driver said her brother was killed in the crash, though police have not confirmed that or the identity of the driver, News 12 reported.

Whether anyone was home at the time of the crash is also unknown.
