Drivers In Deadly Head-On Crash ID'd By NY State Police
The fatal 2-car collision took place Saturday evening, in Orange County, according to New York State Police.

TOWN OF MONROE, NY — Authorities have identified the victims of a deadly Memorial weekend head-on crash.
The New York State Police say that on Saturday, around 7:14 p.m., troopers from Monroe responded to Lakes Road, in the town of Monroe, after receiving a report of a two-vehicle collision.
Investigators say a 2019 Toyota was traveling southwest on Lakes Road, when it crossed the center line into the opposite northeast lane of travel. The Toyota then hit a 2025 Subaru head-on.

The driver of the Subaru, identified as 43-year-old Daryl Baker, of Monroe, was found inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the 2019 Toyota, identified as 61-year-old Robert Molina, of Monroe, was extricated from the vehicle and provided lifesaving measures. He was then taken to Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, and is listed in critical condition.
