Dutchess Man Accused Of Using Knife To Threaten
Police said he destroyed a flat-screen television during a dispute.

WAPPINGER, NY — A Dutchess County man was accused of threatening someone with a knife after a domestic dispute. State police said Andre C. Evans, 23, of Wappinger, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony; second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, both misdemeanors, and second-degree harassment, a violation.
Police said that, around 8:50 p.m. Feb. 6, troopers responded to Pembroke Circle in the Town of Wappinger for a physical domestic dispute.
An investigation found that Evans engaged in the physical dispute, menacing the victim with a kitchen knife, police said.

During the course of the altercation, troopers said that Evans destroyed a flat-screen television and home decor.
He was arraigned in the Town of Wappinger Court and released on his own recognizance.

Evans is scheduled to reappear in court Feb. 27.
