Dutchess Organization Helps Women 'Dress For Success'

The organization is a local source where women can find the dress attire they need for the career fair or a job interview.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A Dutchess County organization wants to help women prepare for job interviews, including what to wear. Dress for Success Dutchess County hopes to teach job seekers how to dress better at the upcoming HudsonValleyHelpWanted.com Career Fair from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, March 28.

“Some job seekers see career fairs as a casual event, or they simply can’t afford professional clothing. First impressions are important and, we want attendees to be able to treat this event just like an interview,” said Noelle Schmidt, career fair coordinator for HudsonValleyHelpWanted.com.

“You only get one chance to make a great impression and you want it to be memorable in the right way,” she said. Schmidt has managed career fairs for HudsonValleyHelpWanted.com for the last seven years.
