Early Voting Scheduled For Mid-Hudson Valley 2023 Primaries
All registered voters who are enrolled in a party that is having a primary election can vote early.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Some voters in Dutchess, Ulster and Orange counties will have an opportunity to choose who will appear on the ballot in November.
Primary elections for those races that are contested will be held Tuesday, June 27, with polls open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Once again there will be a period of early voting taking place from Saturday, June 17 through Sunday, June 25.

All registered voters who are enrolled in a party that is having a primary election can vote early.
Applications for registering to vote in the June 2023 primary election must be received by your county board of elections no later than June 17. Changes of address must be received by June 12.

In Orange County, there are Democratic primary races in Cornwall and the city of Newburgh. There are Republican primaries in Chester, Montgomery, Mount Hope, New Windsor and the village of Woodbury.

Orange County will have two sites available for early voting. The sites may be used by all enrolled voters in the county.
The Orange County early voting sites are:
- City of Newburgh, Newburgh Activity Center, 401 Washington St., Newburgh.
- Caroline Building (former OC Dept. of Social Services), 23 Hatfield Lane, Goshen.
The dates and hours of early voting for both sites are:
- Saturday, June 17, 2023, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, June 18, 2023, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Monday, June 19, 2023, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Tuesday, June 20, 2023, noon to 8 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 21, 2023, noon to 8 p.m.
- Thursday, June 22, 2023, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Friday, June 23, 2023, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Saturday, June 24, 2023, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, June 25, 2023, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In Ulster County, there are Democratic primary elections for legislator of District 20; Kingston mayor, Ward 1 alderman and Ward 4 alderman; Gardiner supervisor; Hurley supervisor, clerk/tax collector and town council; New Paltz town council; Saugerties town council; Shandaken town council and Woodstock supervisor and town council.
There is Republican primary for Shawangunk supervisor and town council.
There is a Working Families Party primary for Saugerties town justice.

There are four early voting locations in Ulster County for the June 27 primary. Any eligible registered voter may use any one of the locations. They are:
- Kingston Midtown Neighborhood Center – 467 Broadway, Kingston
- Shawangunk Town Office Building – 14 Central Ave., Wallkill
- Woodstock Community Center – 56 Rock City Rd., Woodstock
- New Paltz Community Center – 3 Veteran Dr., New Paltz
The dates and times for early voting are:
- Saturday June 17, 2023: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday June 18, 2023: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Monday June 19, 2023: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Tuesday June 20, 2023: noon to 8 p.m.
- Wednesday June 21, 2023: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Thursday June 22, 2023: noon to 8 p.m.
- Friday June 23, 2023: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Saturday June 24, 2023: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday June 25, 2023: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In Dutchess County, there are Conservative Party primaries in Hyde Park. There are Democratic primaries in the city of Poughkeepsie, Milan, North East, Pine Plains, Red Hook, Stanford and Wappinger.
Republican primaries will be held in Lagrange and Wappinger. There will be Working Families primaries in Amenia, Beekman, Clinton, Beacon, city of Poughkeepsie, Dover, East Fishkill, Fishkill, Hyde Park, Lagrange, Milan, North East, Pawling, Pine Plains, Pleasant Valley, town of Poughkeepsie, Red Hook, Rhinebeck, Stanford, Union Vale, Wappinger and Washington.

Early voting in Dutchess County will take place at four locations. Any eligible voter may use any of the locations. They are:
- Mid-Hudson Library Auditorium, 105 Market St., Poughkeepsie
- Boardman Road Library, 141 Boardman Rd., Poughkeepsie
- Rhinebeck Town Hall, 80 East Market St., Rhinebeck
- Wappinger Town Hall, 20 Middlebush Rd., Wappingers Falls
The dates and times for early voting are:
- Saturday, June 17, 2023, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Sunday, June 18, 2023, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Monday, June 19, 2023, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
