East Fishkill Woman Faces Drug Charge, More In Southeast

She was also driving under the influence of drugs and with a suspended license, police said.

EAST FISHKILL, NY — An East Fishkill woman faces a drug possession charge after a traffic safety check. State Police stopped Christie C. Friedland, 19, of East Fishkill on Route 22 in the Town of Southeast Jan. 24.

She was driving a U-Haul rental truck, and police said there was the strong odor of marijuana and she was driving with a suspended license.

Friedland was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and driving while ability impaired by drugs.

She was issue an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Southeast Court Feb. 8.
