Excessive Heat, Bad Air Warnings Extended For Poughkeepsie
Here's the latest on what we've got and how long it will last around Beacon and Newburgh.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — An excessive heat warning is in place until after sunset Monday. Air quality has deteriorated further, and is now classified "unhealthy" for everyone in the lower Hudson Valley. Temperature anomalies on the order of 10 to even 20 degrees above normal are expected Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
Hot and humid weather may continue into the middle of the work week, so heat-related advisories may be extended, the NWS said.
The excessive heat warning for Dutchess and Ulster counties is in effect until 10 p.m. Monday, while the warning for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester ends an hour earlier.
