A lucky ticket holder is $50,000 richer after a recent Powerball drawing in Newburgh, according to the New York Lottery.

NEWBURGH, NY — A lucky lottery player in Newburgh is holding a ticket worth $50,000 following the most recent Powerball drawing.
The New York Lottery announced on Thursday that the third-prize-winning ticket was sold for the March 11 drawing.
The winning ticket was purchased at Smokes 4 Less, on North Plank Road in Newburgh. The store sold the single prize-winning ticket, which entitles the holder to the $50,000 jackpot prize.

The winning numbers for the drawing were 3-6-55-58-63, with a Powerball number of 12.
Winners have up to one year from the date of the drawing to claim the prize money.
