Father, Son Indicted For Heroin Sales
Authorities said the investigation into heroin sales in the area took eight months.

CATSKILLS, NY — A father and son were indicted by a grand jury for selling heroin. State Police said the arrests of Andrew P. Robinson Jr., 25, of Catskill, and Andrew P. Robinson Sr., 41, of Cairo, were the result of an eight-month investigation into the sale of heroin in the towns of Cairo and Catskill.
On Feb. 23, a Greene County Grand Jury indicted Robinson Jr. on four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and four counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, felonies.
On the same day, State Police in Catskill and the Green County District Attorney’s Office executed a search warrant at the resident of Robinson Jr. Police said they found a quantity of heroin, scales, packaging and a dagger, which was all seized.

As a result of the search warrant, Robinson Jr. was additionally charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, a felony, and two counts of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, misdemeanors.
On Feb. 28, the Greene County grand jury indicted Robinson Sr. for third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, felonies.

Robinson Jr. was sent to the Greene County Jail on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond. Robinson Sr. was sent to the jail on $5,000 bail or $10,000 bond.
The investigation was conducted by the State Police in Catskill, the Greene County District Attorney’s Office, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Cairo Police Department.
