Fire Destroys Barns At Goshen Historic Track

Ten horses were saved from the blaze.

GOSHEN, NY — A fire has destroyed barns at a historic Goshen horse racing track. No horses were injured or died from the blaze, which started Wednesday evening at the Goshen Historic Track.

Firefighters from 16 companies worked to quell the fire which was reported at 6:29 p.m.

It took two hours for the 75 firefighters to get it under control, recordonline.com said.

The Harness Racing Museum was not in danger, officials said.
