Flash Flood Watch Issued For Dutchess, Ulster
Localized amounts of more than 5 inches of rain are possible.

A flash flood watch was issued Friday for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley. The National Weather Service said the watch is in effect until noon Saturday, Aug. 4 for Dutchess and eastern Ulster counties.
Showers and thunderstorms, rain heavy at times, will become widespread this afternoon into tonight. An average of 1 to 3 inches of rainfall is expected across the watch area.
Localized amounts of more than 5 inches are possible.
