Flights From Stewart To Ireland, Scotland OK'd For Norwegian Air
Service is scheduled to start during the summer.
NEW WINDSOR, NY — Want to go to Ireland or Scotland? Well, now you can catch a plane at Stewart Airport at Newburgh instead of trekking down to JFK or Newark.
Approval by the Federal Aviation Administration was just given for Norwegian Air International Limited operate international flights from Belfast, Bergen, Dublin, Cork, Shannon and Edinburgh to the Orange County airport, according to MidHudsonNews.com.
The FAA also gave the OK for Norwegian service from Providence, RI, and Windsor Locks, CT.

Daily flights to Edinburgh, Scotland will begin June 15. As of Oct. 29, there will be twice weekly flights for the winter season, nbcnewyork.com said.
Flights to other destinations begin in July.
