Flood Warning Extended For Mid-Hudson Valley: UPDATE

Flood stage is at 5 feet for the Hudson River.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The National Weather Service has extended its flood warning until 10:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.


POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — A flood warning has been issued for the Hudson River at Poughkeepsie. The National Weather Service said the warning is in effect from 2:45 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27.

The NWS said the river is forecast to reach flood stage — 5 feet — by 2 p.m. Saturday and is forecast to continue to rise to near 5.1 feet by 3 p.m. Saturday.

The river is forecast to fall below flood stage after 3 p.m Saturday.

At 5 feet, there could be minor flooding of lowlands, boat docks and boat launches, the NWS said.
